Aloysius Lilius

Aloysius Lilius , also variously referred to as Luigi Lilio, Luigi Giglio, was an Italian doctor, astronomer, philosopher and chronologist, and also the primary author who provided the proposal that became the basis of the Gregorian Calendar reform of 1582.
