Appu Chesi Pappu Koodu is a 1959 Telugu film directed by L. V. Prasad. Appu Chesi Pappu Koodu is a wellknown proverb in Telugu language forewarning about the illeffects of debt Appu means debt. This message is presented as a comedy melodrama. This film has some excellent songs penned by Pingali Nagendra Rao. The film is remake of Tamil language film Kadan Vaangi Kalyaanam.
Raghu is married to Leela Jamuna, who is pretending to be a maidservant and works in Raghus home. Manjari is in love with Raja NT Rama Rao, Leelas brother, who reciprocates and is jailed for being a revolutionary and a part of the independence struggle. Rajas released from jail, and to set the affairs straight and teach Ramadasu a lesson, he pretends to be Bonkulamarri Raja, a bigtime Zamindar and stays in Mukunda Raos home, who now wants Raja to marry Manjari. Raghu gets involved in the drama without anyones invite or knowledge, thus producing situational humor by posing as a prospective groom for Manjari and flirting with his maidwife much to his fathers horror. Confusion and comedy follow, while in the end Ramadasu learns his lesson and all the pairs are united.Telugu Songs The music was composed by Saluri Rajeswara Rao and lyrics of all songs were penned by Pingali Nagendra Rao. ........
