Beata Szyd%C5%82o

Beata Maria Szydo ne Kusiska April 1963 is a Polish politician who has been Prime Minister of Poland since her cabinet took office onNovember 2015. She is vicechairman of the Law and Justice party and led two successful campaigns in the presidential and parliamentary elections of 2015. She is Polands third female prime minister after Hanna Suchocka and Ewa Kopacz and the first to succeed another woman in office.

Szydo was born in Owicim and raised near Brzeszcze, where her father was a miner. She graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakw in 1989.
