Benjamin Franklin Terry
Benjamin Franklin Terry raised and commanded of the Eighth Texas Cavalry Terrys Texas Rangers during the American Civil War. A planter and prominent citizen of Fort Bend County, he organized the regiment for the Confederate States Army. Terry was killed in the regiments first action at Rowletts Station near Woodsonville, Kentucky.
