Bill Montford
William Jonas Bill Montford III is a Democratic politician who serves as a member of the Florida State Senate, representing the 3rd District, which includes Calhoun County, Franklin County, Gadsden County, Gulf County, Hamilton County, Jefferson County, Leon County, Liberty County, Madison County, Taylor County, Wakulla County, since 2012, previously representing the 6th District from 2010 to 2012.
Montford was born in Marianna, Florida , raised in Blountstown, Florida , is an alumnus of Chipola College in Marianna, and received both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University in Tallahassee. For the past four decades, Bill Montford has been actively engaged in public education in Leon County and the Big Bend area.
