Bill Paxton

William Bill Paxton is an American actor and director. He has appeared in a number of films, including The Terminator , Weird Science , Aliens , True Lies , Apollo, Twister , and Titanic . He also starred in the HBO series Big Love and was nominated for an Emmy Award for the miniseries Hatfields amp McCoys.

Paxton was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Mary Lou and John Lane Paxton, a businessman, lumber wholesaler, museum executive, and occasional actor. His mother was Roman Catholic, and he and his siblings were raised in her faith.
