Buckethead

Brian Patrick Carroll , known professionally as Buckethead, is an American guitarist and multiinstrumentalist who has worked within many genres of music. He has released 264 studio albums, four special releases and one EP. He has also performed on more than 50 other albums by other artists. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, ambient, and avantgarde music.

Carroll was born on May 13, 1969 to Tom and Nancy Carroll and is one of five siblings along with Lynn, Lisa, Lori, and John. He grew up in a Southern California suburb not far from Disneyland. In his youth, he was a shy kid and spent most of his time in his room, which was filled with comic books, games, martialarts movie memorabilia, and toys. He also spent a lot of time at Disneyland.
