Charles William Carrico, Sr.
Charles William Bill Carrico, Sr. is an American politician in the Republican Party. He is currently a member of the Senate of Virginia, representing the 40th District. Carricos campaign for Senate was heavily financed by coal mining interests such as Alpha Natural Resources, Consol Energy and Richard Baxter Gilliam. From 2002 to 2011, he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 5th District in the southwestern part of the state. Prior to that, he was a Virginia State Trooper.
