Chespirito

Roberto Gmez Bolaos , more commonly known by his pseudonym Chespirito, or Little Shakespeare was a Mexican screenwriter, actor, comedian, film director, television director, playwright, songwriter, and author. He is widely regarded as the most important Latin and Spanishlanguage humorist of all time.

Roberto Gmez Bolaos was born in Mexico City. His father, Francisco Gmez Linares , was a painter and a cartoonist from the city of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, who died of a stroke at the age of 43. His mother, Elsa Bolaos Cacho , was a bilingual secretary from the city of Oaxaca, the youngest child of Ramn Bolaos Cacho, a military doctor, and his Zacatecasborn wife, Mara Aguilar. Mexican President Gustavo Daz Ordaz Bolaos was his first cousin once removed. He also had a younger brother, Horacio Gmez Bolaos, who would portray the character Godnez in El Chavo del Ocho.
