Christian Schmidt (politician)

Christian Schmidt is a German politician and member of the centreright Christian Social Union and current Minister of Food and Agriculture. He was Parliamentary State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry of Defence from 2005 to 2013 and Parliamentary State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development from December 2013 until February 2014.
