Christoph Blocher

Christoph Blocher German pronunciation is a Swiss politician, industrialist, and former member of the Swiss Federal Council heading the Federal Department of Justice and Police . He serves as vice president of the Swiss Peoples Party. As an industrialist, he became very wealthy as CEO and majority shareholder in the EMSChemie corporation, now run by his daughter, Magdalena MartulloBlocher.

The son of a pastor, Blocher was born in 1940, the seventh of eleven children.
