Christopher Frederik Lowzow
Christopher Frederik Peter Theodor Lowzow was a DanishNorwegian army officer.
Christopher Lowzow was born onJune 1752 at Hvolgaard in Denmark as the son of Eiler Ditlev Lowzow and Hedevig Ulrikke Pfuel . At the age if seven he became Ensign in his fathers regiment, and only to years later he was promoted to Second Lieutenant in the Falsterske Fodregiment. As a 23yearold he went to Norway as Captain of the 1st Oplandske National Regiment, he would come to be associated with this regiment foryears, only interrupted between 17831785 when he was attached to the Life Guard Regiment Foot and Prince Frederiks Regiment. OnAugust 1784 Lowzow married Juliane Margrethe von Rappe .
