Cristina Fern%C3%A1ndez de Kirchner
Cristina Elisabet Fernndez de Kirchner bornFebruary 1953, known as Cristina Kirchner and often referred to by her initials CFK, is an Argentine lawyer and politician.
Fernndez was born on February 19, 1953, in Tolosa, a suburb west of La Plata, Buenos Aires Province. She is a daughter of Eduardo Fernandez , a bus driver, and Ofelia Esther Wilhelm hergrandparents were born in Europein northern Spain , andin Germany. She studied Law at the National University of La Plata during the 1970s and became active in the Peronist Youth. There have been claims stating that she never graduated, and that she may have worked as a lawyer without having a degree. This idea was proposed by the constitutionalist Daniel Sabsay, and fueled by the reluctance of the UNLP to release her degree. She registered at the Tribunal Superior de Justicia of Santa Cruz in 1980, the Comodoro Rivadavias chamber of appeals in 1985 and worked as an attorney for the PJ in 1983. There are also logs of minor cases where she worked as a lawyer as well.
