Danielle Scott Arruda
Danielle Racquel ScottArruda is an American Brazilian indoor volleyball player. She has played at the 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and the 2012 Summer Olympics, breaking a U.S. female volleyball athlete record for Olympic appearances. Shes currently playing professionally for Brazilian league Banana BoatPraia Clube. ScottArruda carried the flag for her native country at the opening ceremony of the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
ScottArruda was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and attended Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, where she was an AllState performer in volleyball and basketball.
