David Crane (politics)
David Crane is an American lecturer in Public Policy at Stanford University and Research Scholar at the Stanford Institute For Economic Policy Research. He is also president and cofounder of Govern for California and a member of the State Budget Crisis Task Force cochaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker and former New York State Lieutenant Governor Richard Ravitch. Previously he served as special advisor to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger from 2004 to 2010 and as a partner at Babcock amp Brown, a financial services company, from 1979 to 2003.
