David Shuster

David Martin Shuster is an American television journalist and talk radio host. He currently works for Al Jazeera America. He has also been an anchor for MSNBC and worked for Fox News, CNN, and Current TV.

Shuster was born to a Jewish family in Bloomington, Indiana. He is the son of Arnold Shuster of Bloomington and Susan Klein of Nashville, Indiana and stepson of Robert Agranoff and Rose MahernShuster . He has one living brother, Jonathan. He graduated in 1985 from Bloomington High School South, and with honors from the University of Michigan. He is in the process of completing a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs at Georgetown University. He was married on May 27, 2007, to journalist Julianna Goldman, at the Sixth amp I Historic Synagogue, in Washington, D.C.. On January 10, 2011, the Washington Post reported that Goldman and Shuster had separated. The couple had no children. On July 23, 2012, Shuster announced his engagement to Kera Rennert, a television writer and producer. Shuster and Rennert married on February 16, 2013, at the Angel Orensanz Foundation for Contemporary Art in New York City. In June 2013, Shusters wife, Kera Rennert, gave birth to their first child.
