David Macaulay


David Macaulay is a Britishborn American illustrator and writer. His most famous works include Cathedral , The Way Things Work and The New Way Things Work . His illustrations have been featured in popular, nonfiction books combining text and illustrations explaining architecture, design and engineering. He was a 2006 recipient of a MacArthur Fellows Program award and also a recipient of the Caldecott Medal in 1991 for Black and White .
