Diane Noomin


Diane Noomin is an American comics artist associated with the underground comics movement. Her work has appeared in many underground comic publications, including Weirdo, Young Lust, Short Order, Arcade, El Perfecto, True Glitz, Aftershock, Real Girl, Lemme Outta Here, Mind Riot, and Titters. She is best known for her character Didi Glitz, who addressed transgressive social issues such as feminism, women masturbating, positive body image, and miscarriages. She is the editor of the anthology series Twisted Sisters, and one of the original contributors to Wimmens Comix. She has also done theatrical work, creating a stage adaptation of Didi Glitz. She is married to cartoonist Bill Griffith.
