Diango Hern%C3%A1ndez

Hernandez was born in 1970 in Sancti Spritus, Cuba. He earned a degree in industrial design at the Havana Superior Institute of Design . After graduation in 1994 he began a collaboration experience together with Ernesto Oroza, Juan Bernal, Francis Acea and Manuel Pia under the name Ordo Amoris Cabinet, after the Latin words for order and love. From 1996 until 2003 Ordo Amoris Cabinet was only formed by Diango Hernndez and Francis Acea. The duos sculptural installations were exhibited throughout Cuba, Europe, and North America. Exhibiting widely Hernndezs works has been included at the 51st Venice Art Biennale , So Paulo Art Biennial , Biennale of Sydney , Kunsthalle Basel , Munichs Haus der Kunst , Londons Hayward Gallery and more recently with a survey at the MART in Rovereto, Italy. Hernandez currently lives and works in Dsseldorf, Germany.
