Dil Dhadakne Do English Let the Heart Beat is a 2015 Indian comedydrama film directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. With Farhan Akhtar in a special appearance and Aamir Khan performs a voiceover as the narrator of the film. Also with Rahul Bose, Zarina Wahab and many more others in supporting roles. The film tells the story of a dysfunctional Punjabi family. Who invite their family and friends along, on a cruise trip to celebrate the couples 30th wedding anniversary. The film was released worldwide onJune 2015.

In celebration of Kamal and Neelams 30th wedding anniversary, they invite their family and friends for a 10day cruise across the Mediterranean. Among their invitees are Mr. and Mrs. Sood. Lalit Sood Parmeet Sethi and his wife Naina Sood Dolly Mattdo and their daughter, Noorie Sood Riddhima Sud. Kamal and Neelam plots to get Kabir married to Noorie, in exchange for his investing in Ayka.On board, Kabir meets a freespirited dancer, Farah Ali Anushka Sharma and engages in a romantic relationship with her. Noorie, on the other hand, falls in love with Rana Khanna Vikrant Massey, the son of Vinod Khanna Manoj Pahwa and Vandana Khanna Preeti Mamgain. Both the Soods and Khannas do not get alone. It is revealed that Sunny and Ayesha dated each other as teenagers Kamal, who was unhappy with their relationship.
