Edmund Henry Lushington


Edmund Henry Lushington was the second Chief Justice of Ceylon. He was also a BarristeratLaw, Bencher of the Inner Temple, Puisne Judge in Ceylon, Chief Commissioner of the Colonial Audit Board, Master of the Crown Office. He was appointed in 1807 and was acting Chief Justice until 1809. He was succeeded by William Coke, who was also acting Chief Justice.
