Eduardo Gavarret

Eduardo Gavarret has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints since 2008.

Gavarret was born in Minas, Uruguay. From 1975 to 1977, he was a Mormon missionary in Paraguay and Uruguay. He was trained in management at the Escuela Superior de Administracion Empresas and in 2000 received an MBA degree from Instituto Nacional de PsGraduao in Campinas, Brazil. Prior to his becoming a general authority, he was employed as the general manager of a pharmaceutical company in Peru.
