Endel Ruberg


Endel Ruberg was an EstonianCanadian artist, naturalist, and humanitarian. He is best known for his leather and watercolour artwork as well as his volunteer work with children.

Endel Ruberg was born in Virumaa, Estonia. He studied art in Finland, where he had gone to volunteer as a Soomepoiss during the Second World War. In 1951, due to uncertainty over possible aggression by the Soviet Union in the region, Ruberg emigrated to Canada. He died in 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden while on holiday.
