Eugenio Lopez, Jr.
Eugenio Moreno Lpez, Jr. , popularly known as Geny Lpez and Kapitan, was the Chairman Emeritus of ABSCBN Broadcasting Corporation from 1993 to 1997.
He was born as Eugenio Moreno Lpez on November 4, 1928 in Iloilo City. His parents were Eugenio Lopez, Sr., a owner of the publication Manila Chronicle and Chronicle Broadcasting Network and his mother Pacita MorenoLpez. He is the nephew of former Philippine Vice President Fernando Lopez.
