Fagun Thakrar

Fagun Thakrar, also known as Fagun, is a critically acclaimed English actor and writerdirector who has appeared in a number of English, Hollywood and Indian cinema. She costarred with Martin Sheen in Bhopal Prayer for Rain, receiving accolades for her performance. Recently, she also starred opposite Donald Sutherland and Brie Larson in an American feature film, to be released in summer 2016.

Fagun was born in Leicester, Leicestershire, England where she studied at Beauchamp College in Oadby. After her childhood, Fagun moved to London, when she was accepted at University College London medical school to study medicine. Simultaneously, she also studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Fagun has also trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in London, from which she graduated in Summer 2014 with a masters degree. Later, Fagun obtained a second masters degree from the London College of Fashion.
