Ferdinand Foltin
Ferdinand Foltin was a highly decorated Major in the Fallschirmjger during World War II and an Generalmajor in the Bundesheer. He was also a recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
