Fran%C3%A7ois Gosselin
Franois Gosselin was a merchant, farmer and political figure in Quebec. He represented Iberville in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1890 to 1906 as a Liberal.
He was born in SaintAthanase, Lower Canada, the son of Franois Gosselin and Onsime Nadeau. He lived in SaintAlexandre. Gosselin was president of the Banque de SaintJean. In 1861, he married Mlanie Manie. He was mayor of SaintAlexandre from 1862 to 1865 and also served as school trustee.
