Gabriel Basso

Louis Gabriel Basso III is an American film and television actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the Showtime television series The Big C, the 2011 science fiction film Super 8, and the 2013 comingofage comedydrama film The Kings of Summer.

Louis Gabriel Basso III was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Marcia and Louis J. Basso. He was homeschooled as a child along with his two sisters . His family attended Grace Doctrine Church in St. Charles, Missiouri. Basso initially wanted to become a professional football player before he found acting.
