Gevork Kotiantz

Gevork Vartanovich Kotiantz , Soviet, Russian Armenian painter, lived and worked in Leningrad, regarded as one of representatives of the Leningrad school of painting.

He was born November 12, 1909 in Shusha, Elisabethpol Governorate in the family of craftsman jeweler. In the same year his family moved to the North Caucasus in Pyatigorsk.
