Ghoomketu

Ghoomketu is an upcoming Bollywood comedy film, directed by Pushpendra Misra. The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the protagonist. The actor will be seen in a comic role for the second time in his career after Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The story revolves around an aspiring writer played by Siddiqui who travels all the way from Lucknow to Mumbai to be a part of films.Nawazuddin Siddiqui was first selected to play the lead role in the film. During the launch of the film, director Pushpendra Misra said that, I wanted to make this movie only with him Siddiqui in the role. Anurag Kashyap was also roped in to play a lazy police officer in the film. Initially, few reports claimed that Huma Qureshi and Richa Chaddha would also play pivotal roles in the film. Qureshis presence in the film is not confirmed yet but Chaddha has confirmed her presence in the film. She will play a cameo role in the film. Television actress Ragini Khanna will also be seen in a role opposite Siddiqui in the film. Lyricist Swanand Kirkire is playing the role of Siddiquis uncle in the film. Singeractor Ila Arun is also playing a role in the film. The makers are also planning to include an item song in the film. Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in a special appearance in Ghoomketu. ........
