Gotthold Gloger
Gotthold Gloger was a German writer and painter.
Gotthold Gloger was born in Knigsberg, East Prussia. He received painting and drawing lessons as a child. He attended the Kunstgewerbeakademie in Knigsberg from 1941, simultaneously arose his first literary attempt. From 1942, Gloger participated in World War II as a soldier of the Wehrmacht and later belonging to the 999th Light Afrika Division.
