Guy Wylly

Guy George Egerton Wylly VC, CB, DSO was an Australian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces, for actions during the Second Boer War.

Wylly was born onFebruary 1880 in Hobart, Tasmania to Edward Arthur Egerton Wylly an officer in the Indian Army, and his wife Henrietta Mary, ne Clerk.
