Habib Munzir Al Musawa

Habib Munzir bin Fuad AlMusawa was an Indonesian Islamic cleric, teacher, dai and founder of the Majelis Rasulullah religious organization.

Munzir was born on February 23, 1973, in Cipanas, Indonesia, the fourth of five children. His father, Fuad Bin Abdurrahman AlMusawa, was born in Palembang and was a journalist for the Berita Buana newspaper. His mother, Rahmah Binti Hashim AlMusawa, was also born in Palembang. His father spent ten years in Mecca studying with Alawi AlMaliki, father of Muhammad Bin Alawi alMaliki, at the Masjidil Haram. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from New York University. Fuad bin Abdurrahman AlMusawa died in 1996 in Cipanas, Indonesia.
