Hans Dammers

Hans Dammers was a German World War II fighter ace and was credited with 113 aerial victories, withunconfirmed claims. During his numerous ground attack missions he destroyedaircraft,locomotives,horsedrawn wagons,trucks,antiaircraft emplacements andarmoured reconnaissance vehicle. He was also a recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross . The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
