Heavenly Slug Russian Nebesny Tikhokod is a 1945 Soviet comedy film directed by Semyon Timoshenko.
In 1944 Joseph Stalin ordered to produce a lighthearted war comedy. The film was shot in 19441945 while the war was still going and shown in theaters on April 1, 1946 to a great success. It was the first Soviet postwar comedy.Filming began near Leningrad, right after the end of the Leningrad Blockade. At the start of the movie one can see the original Yelagin Palace ruined during bombing it was later rebuilt. ........
