Helmut Arpke
Helmut Arpke was a member of the Fallschirmjger during World War II and recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross for his actions during the Battle of Fort EbenEmael. The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
