Irene 1926 is a silent romantic comedy film starring Colleen Moore, and partially shot in Technicolor. The film was directed by Alfred E. Green, produced by Moores husband John McCormick 18931961, and based on the musical Irene written by James Montgomery, Harry Tierney, and Joseph McCarthy.
The scenes which were shot in Technicolor cost a total amount of 100,000. The total budget was 1,500,000.This was the final film of actress Marion Aye, a former Mack Sennett bathing beauty, who committed suicide in 1951. ........
