Irina Getmanskaya

Irina Ivanovna Getmanskaya Soviet, Russians painter and art teacher, living and working in Saint Petersburg, a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists , regarded as one of representatives of the Leningrad school of painting.

Getmanskaya was born January 6, 1939, in Leningrad, USSR, to an artistic family. From 1950 to 1957 she studied in the Leningrad Secondary Art School under the AllUnion Academy of Arts. She was a student of Alexei Kuznetsov and Alexander Bulygin.
