James Gilbert (producer)
Cecil James Gilbert is a Scottish television producer and director. He was the BBCs Head of Comedy from 197377. He was probably best known for his work on The Two Ronnies, Last of the Summer Wine and Open All Hours. In 2003, Gilbert appeared on the documentary specialYears of Last of the Summer Wine to discuss his role in helping to create the series.
