Jean Michel Huon de Kermadec


JeanMichel Huon de Kermadec was an 18thcentury French navigator. In September 1791 he was chosen to command the Esprance on the Bruni dEntrecasteaux expedition to find the lost expedition of JeanFranois de La Prouse. The expedition explored Australia and the South Pacific. Kermadec died of tuberculosis onMay 1793 at Balade in New Caledonia.
