Jennifer Candy

John Franklin Candy was a Canadian actor and comedian, mainly in American films such as Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Uncle Buck .

Candy was born in 1950 in Newmarket, Ontario. The son of Sidney James Candy and his wife Evangeline Candy, he was brought up in a working class Roman Catholic family. Candys father was of English and Scottish descent, while his mother was of Polish and Ukrainian descent.
