Laura Weightman

Laura Weightman is a British middledistance runner who competes in the 1500 metres. She reached the final at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Weightman won the Silver Medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Weightman was born onJuly 1991 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. She was educated at The Duchesss Community High School, a state comprehensive school in the market town of Alnwick. She currently is living in Leeds training fulltime after graduating with a Sport and Exercise Science degree from Leeds Metropolitan University in May 2013.
