Laurie Throness

Laurie Throness is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2013 provincial election. He represents the electoral district of ChilliwackHope as a member of the British Columbia Liberal Party. Before becoming a politician, Throness completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge, publishing a book on the Penitentiary Act of 1779 and its origins in religious debate.
