Maka Kotto


Maka Kotto , is a politician of Cameroonian descent from Quebec, Canada who is a Parti Qubcois member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Bourget. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the Minister of Culture and Communications. A former member of the Canadian House of Commons for the Bloc Qubcois, Kotto is also a published author and has appeared in films.

Kotto was born in Douala, Cameroon, and graduated from high school at Lyce HenriMartin in SaintQuentin, France. He studied law, politics, dramatic art and cinema in Nanterre, Bordeaux and Paris.
