Marcos Galperin
Marcos Galperin is an Argentine businessman, who is best known as the cofounder and CEO of MercadoLibre.com.
Marcos Galperin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to a wealthy family, owner of SADESA, one of the largest leather sellers companies in the world. He attended Colegio San Andrs in Olivos, Buenos Aires. In 1990, after graduating from high school, he travelled to the United States to study Finances at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. There, he became friend with Jos Estenssoro, YPF presidents son. In 1994, he joined this company when he finished college and returned to Argentina.
