Mariano Melgarejo

Manuel Mariano Melgarejo Valencia was the 18th President of Bolivia, from December 28, 1864, to January 15, 1871.

Melgarejo was born on April 13, 1820 in the Department of Cochabamba, being the illegitimate son of a SpanishBolivian and a Quechua Indian.
