Marudhanaattu Ilavarasi Tamil is a Tamil language film starring M. G. Ramachandran and V. N. Janaki in the lead roles and story and dialogues by M. Karunanidhi. The film was released in 1950.
The love sequences featuring MGR and Janaki were wellconceived and shot. These included bathing in a pond and the hero teaching her how to fence. Both look impressive.The music composed by M. S. Gnanamani, while lyrics written by C. A. Lakshmana Das amp K. P. Kamatchi Sundaram. The singers were M. M. Mariappa, K. V. Janaki and P. Leela. ........
