Muruga (film)

Muruga is a 2007 Tamil Indian film written and directed by R. T. Neason and starring Ashok, Shruti Sharma and Samiksha. The story, screenplay and dialogues are by siva, who has worked as assistant to the likes of K. R. Udhayashankar and Vincent Selva. Ram Senthils Cocktail Dream Productions distributed the movie. Padmesh handled the camera and the music is by Kartik Raja.

Forgetting the past and her familys issues, the two become good friends and this friendship develops into love. After completing her studies, Amutha returns to the village, only to discover that wedding preparations are underway, as her parents had arranged she marry Selvam. Finally, Murugan and Amudha succeed in getting married with the blessing of Amudhas father.India glitz congratulated debutante director R. T. Neason for not creating a formula Tamil film. The praised actors Ashok and Sruthi Sharma for making best advantage of their roles, panned Vadivelus characters humour . Special note was taken of Mahadevan for the solidity he brought to his character, and to the musical score created by Karthik Raja. While offering the films lengthy could have benefited from trimming, they wrote The director has made an honest and sincere attempt to give a film which has a good storyline and interesting screenplay. ........
