Titanic is a 1943 German propaganda film made during World War II in Berlin by Tobis Productions for UFA. Despite the fact that a British company had already released a Germanlanguage film about the RMSTitanic, the film was commissioned by Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels with the intent of showing not only the superiority of German filmmaking, but also as a propaganda vehicle which would show that British and American capitalism was responsible for the disaster, 1 The addition of an entirely fictional heroic German officer to the ships crew was intended to demonstrate the superior bravery and selflessness of German men as compared to the British officers.

It was also released as a 71minute feature film which consisted of the first four chapters of the serial version. Actress Jacqueline Wells costarred she later changed her name to Julie Bishop. The serial was produced by Sol Lesser, written by Basil Dickey, George Plympton and Walter Anthony based on the character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and directed by Robert F. Hill. The movie was the second Tarzan movie ever made, and is based on Edgar Rice Burroughs original novel Tarzan of the Apes. It adapts only the second part of the novel, the earlier portion having been the basis for the preceding film Tarzan of the Apes 1918. Tarzan of the Apes 1999 is an animated musical adventure film produced by Diane Eskenazi and Darcy Wright and written by Mark Young based on the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Richard Wagners Ride of the Valkyries was used as the score during the opening scenes of the film. It was released directly to home video on March 9, 1999. The apes appear to be chimpanzees in this version, unlike the unrelated 1999 Disney film in which they are gorillas.

Buruuba is a 1955 adventure film directed by Shigeyoshi Suzuki. The film was a Japanese Tarzan film based on the main character Buruuba. It was supposed to be shot in the jungle but was filmed in Los Angeles. Like Johnny Weissmuller who starred in classic Tarzan films, the starring actor Shigeyoshi Suzuki was also an Olympic swimming medalist in the 1952 Summer Olympics.
