Omar Davies
Dr. Omar Davies is a Jamaican politician with the Peoples National Party , and the former Minister of Transport, Works and Housing and the former Minister of Finance of Jamaica. He was preceded by Audley Shaw amp by extension Dwight Nelson and Don Wehby from the opposing Jamaica Labour Party . He received his doctorate in Economics from Northwestern University. His service in academia includes work at Stanford University and the University of the West Indies. He is the current Member of Parliament for South St. Andrew an infamous PNP garrison constituency.
